Where are your premises?
We do not have premises for valeting cars as we are a mobile car wash/valet company based in Edinburgh. Our vans carry all the required equipment onboard so we can come to you. Remember, we offer a free local pickup and delivery service in addition to our mobile car valeting service.
How long will a Platinum Valet take for my car?
An average sized car can take between 2.5 to 3 hours to be valeted. A people carrier (7 seater) can take around 3.5 to 4 hours.
Why does a car valet take so long?
Because we want to do the job in full. We don’t just exceed our customers’ expectations but we always maintain AS-CLEANS’ own standards. Remember, we aim for 100% customer satisfaction when it comes to car valeting.
My car has just been valeted. How long will it take for the seats and carpets to fully dry after they have been shampooed?
During the winter season it can take up to half a day. In the summer season, drying time can be around 3 to 4 hours.
Do you need access to water or any electrical power points when you wash/valet my car?
Our vans have everything onboard to carry out a complete Mobile Car Valet Service.

I have tried everything on my alloy wheels but cannot get rid of the brake dust and dirt on my car. Can you help?
At AS-CLEAN our speciality is getting your car's wheels spotless. The alloy wheel cleaner we use is very effective when combined with our powerful jet wash. This will get rid off all the excess dirt on the alloy wheels of your car, leaving them immaculate.
I was driving my car past road works and road tar has stuck to my car. Can you remove this?
Yes, we have the right cleaning products which will remove road tar from your car.
How much notice is needed to book a car valet?
From 1 hour to 1 day. It really depends on how busy we are. We would advise you to book well in advance if you would like a car valet done at the weekend.
Can you clean my car while I am at work?
Yes, as we are a Mobile Car Valet Service we can come to your place of work to valet your car.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, we provide a Mobile Car Valet Service 7 days a week.
Your pricelist says "Price from" e.g. Gold Valet from £18, Platinum Valet from £35. Why is this?
The price really depends on the size of your car. For example, a Platinum valet on a Vauxhall Corsa would cost approximately £35 as it is a small car. Please call us on 07731 579580 for a quote to have your car valeted.
Do you T-Cut vehicles?
Yes, we offer a T-Cut service to remove light surface scratches, blemishes and scuff marks from the paintwork of your car.
What is T-Cut?
T-Cut restores the original colour of your vehicle. It will remove ingrained road grime, tar spots and minor scratches and scuffs to the bodywork of your car. It can also temporarily remove oxidation (rust).
What is exactly done when you T-Cut a car?

If my car is T-Cut will it totally remove the rust?
No. The rust will only be removed temporarily.
Will I need to repaint my car if it is T-Cut?
It really depends on the state of the paint work on your vehicle. In some
cases a vehicle may just need a good T-Cut to bring the colour back out.
How much does it cost to T-Cut a vehicle?
To T-Cut a whole car it will cost from £40. The actual cost depends on the size of the vehicle and how much T-Cut is required.
